The Prayer of Repentence

Last night, during our Wednesday Re-fuel service, God gave me such new revelation on repentance. So many want life change, but are only upset at their current position. They have no distaste for the past and how they got to the current. When this is the case, we are doomed to go back to the same patterns and life choices that got us where we are in the first place!!! Repentance is more then just stopping, and going in different direction, it is about stopping, acknowledging our sin, and choosing to go in the GOD direction!

And somethng powerful happens when we do that...God moves in and gives us joy! Look at what David said during his prayer of repentance...

Psalms 51:12 - Restore to me again the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.

If anyone reading this is struggling with having JOY in their salvation, let's repent of that today, turn to move in the God direction and allow Him to lift us up!!!
